1. What is an eBook?

Answer: An eBook is the same as a traditional printed book except an eBook is an electronic book (or a digital book). Our eBooks contain smart features which make them convenient and affordable.

2. What is a fixed subscription eBook?

Answer: A fixed subscription eBook is an eBook available for purchase to be used for a fixed subscription period. However, the latest edition of the eBook (with enriched contents) can be subscribed again at a fixed subscription period whenever it is needed as a way to reduce the fee charged to a reader.

3. What is an unlimited subscription eBook?

Answer: An unlimited subscription eBook is an eBook available for purchase with an unlimited subscription period. In other words, it is a permanent (or premium) eBook. A purchaser can opt “before and after” purchasing a fixed subscription eBook to purchase an unlimited subscription eBook. At present, we only offer 4-month subscription and 1-year subscription eBooks.

4. What are the differences between a fixed subscription eBook and an unlimited subscription eBook?

Answer: A fixed subscription eBook and an unlimited subscription eBook of the same title and the same edition are identical in contents but different in their prices and lengths of the subscription periods.

5. Can a custom subscription period be arranged?

Answer: An instructor of a course can request by “Contact us” a custom subscription period to be arranged for an adopted eBook.

6. How many days of subscriptions are covered respectively by 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, 4-month, and 1-year subscription periods?

Answer: The numbers of days in the 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, 4-month, and 1-year subscription periods are respectively 31 days, 61 days, 92 days, 122 days, and 365 days. At present, we only offer 4-month subscription and 1-year subscription eBooks.

7. When will the subscription period of a fixed subscription eBook start counting?

Answer: The subscription period of a fixed subscription eBook will start counting from the day the eBook is fulfilled (or activated) on a computer or device after download.

8. How many computers (desktop computer or laptop or tablet) or devices (phone) can an eBook be installed and displayed (or read)?

Answer: An eBook can be displayed and read on only one computer (or one device). So a purchased eBook should be downloaded and installed (fulfilled or activated) on your preferred computer (or device) to be used for reading.
