Plan 5: A student with a financial need can apply for a discount to refund up to 50% (including any discount already received) of the regular price of a purchased eBook.

(b) Attach a pdf file of the email received containing the Buyer information, title and unit price of each purchased eBook;

Why a student wants to buy an individual copy of the required eBooks of a course

(a) eBooks (without printed papers) are increasingly popular for all academic textbooks, professional references, and research monographs now and in the years to come and there are many benefits to use, explore, and accustom this digital technology as one of the earlier readers.

(b) Our eBook saves valuable time for students to copy lecture materials (and for instructors to prepare class presentations).

(c) Our eBook is convenient to carry and read anywhere and at any time to maximize study time, allows adding personal notes on the eBook during classes (or reading) to consolidate understanding and learning.

(d) Our eBooks are available online instantly any place and any time you need it (for a project and so forth) with different choices of subscription periods and an option to buy a permanent eBook.

(e) An eBook is licensed for an individual reader and on one computer/device only. Sharing an eBook on a personal computer/device with another student is not convenient, interferes and slows down each other’s study, and affects the performance of individual students; also, it is not permitted by the eBook’s license.

(f) Each of our subscription-based eBooks is priced to be affordable to students, and costs less than the price of a complete courseware (which includes printing charge, binding charge, copyright charge, royalty fee, and etc.) or a standard textbook for a similar course purchased from a university bookstore or elsewhere.

(g) We support needy students to buy at a reduced price the required eBooks for a course through the “eBook Deals” program.

(h) Each buyer of our eBooks contributes making our eBooks more affordable to all students.

Suggestions are welcome

We shall continue to improve the “eBook Deals” program so that all students can afford to buy the required eBook(s) for a course. Inputs from students are always welcome.
